The purpose of the current project (Risk Assessment Project Phase IV) is to determine the ability of a revised version of the IPPI-RAT (IPPI-RAT-R, which includes 15 original IPPI-RAT items plus 5 additional dynamic items), to evaluate pre-, post-intervention (treatment) changes in the reduction of physical violence risk in maltreating couples. In addition, the end of treatment assessment results from the IPPI-RAT-R will be compared with the end of treatment risk evaluation (as measured by FAP provider’s decision to close case as resolved or not resolved) to determine the degree of concordance between the two assessments.
