This Cowles Fellowship donation will bring Dr. Elisha Enabulele to Texas Biomed to hone his skills as a Molecular Parasitologist. This project will contribute to the major push to control and eliminate schistosomiasis proposed in the World Health Organization NTD roadmap (2020 target), and provide Dr. Enabulele with rigorous training in population genomic approaches to parasite biology.
