South Texas Blood & Tissue Center performed annual retesting of low titer O whole blood donors. On retest, only 4.10% tested as high titer. The data indicate that isoagglutinin titers do not dramatically change over time, but additional data is needed to verify this trend and to determine if there is a difference in conversion to high titer status when age and ethnicity are considered.
